Codes of VoIP Providers

Many VoIP providers maintain mutual interconnects with other VoiP providers using special dial codes to reach subscribers of the respective other provider. Those special dial codes are placed like international country dial codes. In order to operate provider codes and country codes syntactically identical without the risk of interfences, provider codes each start with a zero, whereas a country never starts with a zero. Note, that you'll maybe need a prefix before the country code respectively the provider code, and that prefix may begin with a zero.

Most VoIP providers prefer getting accessed by one unique provider code from all the other VoIP providers, which seems quite reasonable. Thus we can speak about a provider code which is assigned to a specific provider, or just: Almost each VoIP provider has its unique numeric code.

Currently, there is no authority assigning or confirming those codes, so there is a high risk to find multiple assignments of the same code in the near future. In order to help preventing such multiple assignments, we, the PLANinterNET VoIP-GmbH, have started maintaining the following codes list on 2005/01/01. Currently we are adding any provider and its at least 4 digit code, who asks for it and seems to do a reasonable business, not obvious fake. Any code is assigned once on a first come first serve basis. Since we have no mandate doing this assignment, we hope, the community will create a regulation mechanism before the first conflicts about those codes occur.

Thus, use the following list at your own risk! It is not at all a kind of official, legal or authorized list.
If you are VoIP provider and not or wrong listed: please drop a message!
